BeaconLit 2025 will be held over two sites:
Ivinghoe Town Hall, where registration takes place downstairs in the library and most of the events take place upstairs
and Ivinghoe Community Hub, where you will find the writing workshop, Our Bookshop stall and signings.
The two venues are directly opposite each other in Ivinghoe High Street. The Hub is adjacent to Ivinghoe Lawn (the village green) where free parking is available. The best postcode to use is LU7 9EP.
If you’re driving towards Pitstone, you’ll pass Ivinghoe Church on the left, and parking on the Lawn is on your immediate right, with access from Station Road. If you see the Haldi restaurant on the left, you’ve gone too far.
Coming through Pitstone towards Ivinghoe, you’ll pass the Haldi on the right. Carry on past a pharmacy and a shop on the right, and you’ll see the Lawn on the left just before the church on your right.
The Town Hall is diagonally opposite the Lawn
The nearest train station is Tring, with good links from Milton Keynes in the north and London Euston. Ivinghoe is 3 miles from the station. If you need a taxi, we’d recommend booking in advance.
Some light refreshments are available in the Town Hall. The Hub has the Daisychain café, but please note it can get busy.
The Town Hall has limited disabled access and the upstairs events are accessible via a chair lift. Please let us know in advance if you will need assistance.
